New Protocol

Here's an interesting new protocol named HIP - Host Identity Protocol.

The first paragraph:

"... proposes a solution for separating the end-point identifier
and locator roles of IP addresses. It introduces a new Host
Identity (HI) name space, based on public keys. The public
keys are typically, but not necessarily, self generated."

Just starting the process but it does have interesting possibilities...
maybe SMTP for starters...

Now the Madrid metro is quite interesting. You can catch it from the airport. All shiney and spanky new! The closer you get to downtown the older and more run down the trains and stations get. Obviously they don't share cars between all of the lines...
